Well, try to keep in mind that you can't please everyone. :/ And as long as you're pleased with what you do and the end result, then I don't think anyone else's (negative) opinions matter. Keep up the good work.
No. Trying to please people isn't stupid. o-o I imagine that it's just in your nature to try to please. I don't believe that such intentions are wrong (except, y'know, when it's for sexual purposes. That stuff kind of bugs me. ._.). But, as you may have learnt, some people are hard to please, and others simply aren't worthy of attention. Yeah, I know, that last bit sounded a bit bitchy and judgemental, but... Well. I think it's the truth.

Well, you know, you do what you can with what you what've got, and well, as long as you tried to do your best during that time, I don't think it ought to matter. But... Yeah, even though I don't know of the greatest advice to give, I know what it's like to feel like you could've done better... And I also know what it's like when you don't really give a shit, not that's really on-topic...

Well, I've always been a bit of a bitch, but... I don't let it gnaw on my conscious too much. -shrugs- You can't change the person who you are if you don't know how and aren't willing to do so.
And well, you certainly can't change your facial looks. Sure, you could hide 'em with make-up, but what the hell's the point? :/
